For those who haven't seen the film yet.
Jemaine (Jarrod) Clement's and Bret McKenzie's "folk-comedy" band. They themselves admit What the Folk!, a fan site, is better than what they offer.
HBO in America recognised the talent and comedy gold of the Conchord's act and gave them a 1 hour special as well as a comedy series. You can even watch the pilot episode.
Taika Cohen/Waititi
The brainchild behind Eagle vs Shark is Taika Waitit. Here's an interview where he, along with Loren Horsley (Lily) discuss E v S.
Another interview finds him talking about being a "darkie with a camera" amongst other things.
